LOVE DELIVERED
AMAZON PRIDE FLOAT
We brought Amazon’s “Love Delivered” platform to life with a Pride parade float that transformed its iconic shipping boxes into a larger-than-life delivery of joy, self-expression, and belonging. Stacked packages, rainbow packing tape, and an oversized shipping label made the design unmistakably Amazon, while playful inflatables- a disco ball, rainbow fan, and pink lips- burst from the top, bringing the energy of Pride to the streets. From concept sketches and renderings through the final build, we translated familiar brand elements into a bold, celebratory experience, delivering love far beyond the doorstep.
I led the float’s creative development from initial design and sketches through construction, working closely with multiple vendors to bring the concept to life. My role included designing the custom inflatables, determining their placement, and coordinating construction logistics to preserve the creative vision throughout the build. I also coordinated the float’s run of show, aligning the design and operational details for a seamless parade experience.
Working closely with Amazon and Glamazon, we extended the float’s creative direction into a collection of Pride merchandise designed to carry the celebration beyond the parade. A standout was the coveted clap fan, a nod to drag culture that brought movement, sound, and attitude to the streets, turning participants into part of the spectacle.
Seeing people come together around our float in the nation’s capital, united by a message of love and belonging, was an unforgettable experience. Watching a design become a shared celebration was the most rewarding part of bringing this project to life.
